Drop-in health clinic for gay and bisexual men

Our Exchange Street Clinic will be open every Thursday 5.30pm to 7.30pm and will provide sexual health information, testing for sexual infections including HIV, free condoms and signposting to other services.

Simon Pringle, Service Manager at ADA, commented "...we know that those within LGBT communities can be at higher risk of sexually transmitted infections and indeed problematic alcohol and/ or drug use, so this joint new clinic is an excellent opportunity to engage with these groups".

We would encourage anyone within the LGBT community who is concerned, to drop in and see us for free and confidential advice as well as tests and treatments.

Colin McKay, lead worker at the Exchange St Clinic said "...attendance figures since the launch on December 1st 2016 have exceeded our expectations and we've been delighted with the positive feedback we've received. Being a drop-in service operating out of hours appears to be a huge draw for this service, and as an agency we're delighted to provide this service in partnership with Grampian Sexual Health offering gay, bi-, and MSM's a wider choice of times and venues for testing.
