DA has new services called “Alcohol Aberdeen” designed to help people have a healthier relationship with alcohol. Take our quiz to find out to find out if your drinking is likely to cause harm, this also provides advice on how to cut down and information about accessing support including an online self-help programme.
Alcohol Aberdeen works in a way that helps people achieve their goals and will put you in contact with others who have gone through similar struggles who can offer invaluable inspiration and support.
To speak directly to a friendly and knowledgeable member of staff, the service has a daily helpline or drop-in – this provides immediate advice and also is a gateway to services.
Family members can suffer greatly and yet are crucial in helping people make changes and so 1-1 and group support to family members is available through the new services.
