Activities Group Cromdale Trip

4 days of outdoor fun for our service users!

Some of our weekly Activity Group members experienced four days at Adventure Aberdeen’s Cromdale Outdoor Centre in Speyside last year. Located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, it’s within easy reach of some of the best water and land based activity sites in Scotland and features some breath taking scenery. Activities include kayaking, canoeing, hill walking, gorge walking and mountain biking to name but a few.

The group stayed for three nights in Adventure Aberdeen’s residential base and took part in the daily outdoor activities which promoted health, well-being and team building.

James 34, who went to Cromdale, said “I come to ADA because I suffer from depression, anxiety and drug addiction. We have just come back from an outdoor activity 4 day break it’s just a pity it couldn’t have been longer. The staff that were there and the cook were all helpful, understanding and willing to talk & listen to our problems day and night. The activities we did were great always felt safe and happy”

Peter 39, who also went on the trip said “Cromdale was an excellent experience, the staff were amazing! We all had a great time. Team building big style. I have certainly learned how people can gel together to be a team. The staff were heroes! Them and the cook deserve medals!”
